Where it all started
Siri’s passion for helping others with their exercise and nutrition began with her own health journey back in 2018. She was pursuing a nursing degree and on the women’s swim team at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD. Instead of gaining the well-known freshman-15 pounds, she had gained 60 pounds throughout the academic year. Once she had reached this weight, she decided that it was time to turn her life around. She took extreme ownership of her life and became committed to living a healthy lifestyle.
That following summer, she became dedicated to learning more about nutrition and exercise, changed her life around, and started living up to her full potential. Not only did she loose the weight she gained her freshman year of college, but, more importantly, found her lifelong passion in nutrition and exercise physiology. She transferred to Montana State University in Bozeman, MT during the middle of her sophomore year, changing her degree to Food and Nutrition - Dietetics to start the path to become a registered dietitian. Throughout her health journey and career pursuit, she realized that there was a major absence of nutrition and exercise coaches that provided actual research-based plans to their clients. Therefore, she stepped up to take on that role with a promise to help others live up to their full potential by developing research-based, clinically-proven nutrition and fitness plans that are tailored to each individual’s needs.
Where it is going
Siri now has a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition - Dietetics, and became an Ace Certified Personal Trainer and a Precision Nutrition Certified Nutrition Coach. She completed her Master’s of Science in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition in May of 2024 at Montana State University. She is now pursuing her dietetic internship at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Due to her love for exercise and nutrition, she is planning to pursue her PhD in Bioenergetics & Exercise Science after her dietetic internship.
Her passion for helping others with their nutrition and exercise has only exponentially increased since the beginning of her health journey. She wants to help people become stronger, both physically and mentally, and believes that they have what it takes to live up to their full potential. Her guidance alongside individualized research-based nutrition and exercise strategies will help you achieve your goals and live a long, ever-lasting healthy lifestyle.
